Support Literacy In Reston, VA!
For the second consecutive year Our Kids Read and Ragnarok Technologies are partnering to bring literacy-focused events to students in underserved communities in Virginia. Last year, OKR and Ragnarok partnered to bring books and storytelling to students in Sterling, VA, this year it's Forest Edge Elementary School in Reston, VA!

Students will receive two free books each and will be entertained by storytelling and West African drumming.

Ragnarok Technologies provides a wide range of IT focused services to their customers including (but not limited to) Systems Engineering, Software Development, Program Management and Cyber Security. Established in 2015, Ragnarok began supporting its first customer in early 2016 and has quickly grown into the thriving small business it is today.
Community is incredibly important to Ragnarok. Ragnarok does its best to make a difference in its employee's communities. They work with their employees to identify local organizations that matter most to them, and find ways we can work with these organizations to help advance their mission. Our Kids Read extends a special "THANK YOU!" to Ragnarok for identifying Our Kids Read as one such organization.

OKR is a 100% volunteer organization but we do pay contract musicians, storytellers and part-time staff. Please donate to support the cost of bring the best event possible to the students we serve.
